I am a 7th generation Hoosier. Raised on a small farm in rural Indiana, I grew up learning the importance of hard work, helping your neighbor and good old common sense. While getting my education, I worked in various jobs including construction and in a foundry. After high school and college, I graduated from Purdue University with a Master of Science in Management. I worked for the Indianapolis based Eli Lilly and Company for 16 years after which my family and I moved back to my beloved Bremen Indiana. I am married to a physician who works with Veterans. We are raising a daughter and son who are in high school and are thankfully thriving academically, athletically and spiritually. Since moving back to Bremen, I have been busy. I am currently president of the school board, serve on the Marshall County Community Foundation, work with local businesses and help community members with their personal business goals as well as teach frequently at IUSB.
